Dat Politics - Corpsicle (Theatre Of Delays Remix)
Corpsicle is a term that has been used in science fiction to refer to a corpse that has been cryonically cryopreserved. It is a portmanteau of "corpse" and "popsicle".

Johnn Foxx - Underpass
That's
cult,
electronica,
kraut,
new-wave,
retro
...
In 1979 after Ultravox! were dropped by their record company, singer and electronic music pioneer John Foxx decided to leave the band for a solo career.
Underpass was his first solo single. Released by Virgin Records in 1980. It reached number 31 in the British singles chart, his highest solo chart position. All instrument were played by Foxx.
Very rough kraut new wave talking about disgregated society living in the concrete landscapes of a nightmare future (Foxx admitted he took inspiration from J.B. Ballard novels to write this song).
Cult.

Lauer - Trainmann (Tensnake Franceman Remix)
The german producer (Phillip) Lauer, is releasing his debut solo album, Phillips, in April.
Meanwhile on another sofa, Tensnake, another german producer, made two remixes of one track of the album. I choose the disco version, cliffhangers and distorted sirens inserted on a sizzling melody with a killer bassline.
Addictive!

Acid Washed - The Rain
Acid Washed are two french DJ’s keen on using modern and vintage equipment to create sophisticated electronics with a sharp pop aesthetic.
The Rain (a cover of the Oran “Juice” Jones soul classic) belongs to their debut album, Acid Washed (2010).
Synthpop mood and late nineties dance beats melted into a nu-disco gloomy candy.

The Phenomenal Handclap Band - You'll Disappear (Horse Meat Disco Remix)
That's
boogie,
electro-pop,
nu-disco,
punk-funk,
remix
...
Today I wanted to post a horse-related track.
The best I found is this old remix (2009) part of an EP that contains, among others, reworks by Munk and Prins Thomas.
The Phenomenal Hanclap Band consists of 8 members, all part of New York alternative funk and indie rock scene.
Horse Meat Disco is an acclaimed London DJ collective making "queer parties for everyone".
The meeting of these two worlds gives us a not too cheesy not too deep track perfect for easy gigs.

Theatre Of Delays - Sophie
Late in the morning I found Sophie on my sofa: savage hair, morning after make-up, a lousy T-shirt and a terrible hangover... and she was still a queen.
Theatre Of Delays, brand new Berlin-based producer, gives his new track as a present: nu-disco with a cinematic inclination and triangle sparks.
